Communication is moving at breakneck speed - the Internet, mobile phones and PDA’s are all enabling people to work effectively on the move and to be connected 24x7 around the globe.

But these technologies are not truly integrated into the corporate communication platform and can potentially bypass the security and communication policies in-place to protect the user and the corporate.

At the same time you need to improve communication, reduce your costs and boost your business efficiency by allowing your workforce to work on the move.

eMailSMS is as simple to use as email with no complicated instructions or learning curve – if you can use email, you can use eMailSMS!

Simply install the eMailSMS suite and a “New SMS” icon will appear in your Outlook tool bar. Simply click on the icon, select the recipients contact details, type the message and press send – it’s as simple as that!

eMailSMS will get the mobile phone number from the recipient's details in the Outlook address book and deliver the message to the phone.

The email is delivered to the recipient’s mobile phone as a normal SMS text message that they can read and save as usual. Additionally, a copy of the message is sent to the recipients email inbox.

The sender can attach files to the message. The recipient will receive the file name in the SMS message and the files will be sent to the recipient’s inbox.
If the email is longer than the maximum characters for an SMS, then the email is automatically split into multiple SMS.

The recipient can reply to the SMS message via their mobile and the original sender will receive this as a normal email in their inbox along with the original message.

eMailSMS is as simple to use as email, with little user-training and no additional technical knowledge required.

Increase productivity by relaying important messages to the mobile workforce without having to interrupt them. For example, mobile workers can be told the next address to go to, or that a meeting has been delayed, or the venue has changed.

Information is written, not spoken, enabling future accurate reference and reducing the need for mobile workers to find a pen and paper to take down the information whilst on the move.

Users no longer need to make expensive calls to a mobile phone to relay information thus reducing your landline to mobile connection costs.

One-to-one or one-to-many messaging allows mass communication to a number of recipients in one go.

A copy of the message is also sent to the recipients email inbox thus enabling future reference.

Mobile users can reply via SMS message back to the sender who receives it as a normal email.

Ensure your corporate email security policy applies to SMS sent by email.
