Wireless Live launched TextWall+ at Bar 07, Earls Court, London.
Wireless Live in partnership with the IT Business Ltd launched TextWall+ at the Bar Show in London's Earls Court,
TextWall+ is an application designed to create an interactive environment for clubs and bars. The application allows the user to easily create competitions, polls, promotions and video adverts. TextWall+ displays these events right over live TV/Video or can automatically replace the TV/Video feed.
It is not just about fun as the application is designed to generate revenue for the club. Firstly the promotions are a great way of shifting stock by flashing your special offers using simple text or flashy video. Secondly the interactive events like polls, competitions and scrolling text, allow the audience to participate via SMS text message. The sender's number is retained by the TextWall+ in its database and can easily integrates with Wireless Live Desktop to allow you to push future events via SMS.

Wireless Live today released Wireless Live Desktop
Wireless Live Desktop is an application aimed at businesses who need to communicate with customers and colleagues via SMS Text Messages but not via a traditional email system. It is ideally suited to businesses, schools, clubs etc that hold information in internal databases, spreadsheets or CSV text files.
Wireless Live Desktop allows you to create messages to broadcast to groups based on queries that you write using the inbuilt query editor or to a single recipient. It can received replies and delivery notifications and all the information is displayed in an easy to use interface.
For example if were a courier company, in a few minutes, you could get Wireless Live Desktop to send a reminder SMS to all customer receiving a package that day.
Schools can you use the system to beat truancy by sending an SMS text message to all parents whose children are absent. This can be done automatically using the inbuilt scheduler to run the query daily and send the text messages.
Wireless Live Desktop can also be used with conjunction with Wireless Live's inbound SMS service which allows you to forward text messages into the application. For example a school may choose to publish a mobile number for kids to text to if they are experiencing bullying. The message will be received by Wireless Live Desktop in its easy to use interface.

Wireless Live has released a Software Development Kit to allow developers to incorporate SMS and 2-Way SMS into their applications.
Wireless Live's I2MG (Internet to Mobile Gateway) platform is now accessible via HTTP, COM, SMTP and Web Services.
Developers with a few lines of code can now send SMS text and receive replies into their applications.

Today, Wireless-Live and TextAnywhere announced the release of TextEmail.

Wireless Live launched its sister site GenSMS to act as account management and software distribution for eMailSMS and future products.
Today, Wireless-Live unveiled GenSMS, its sister site to allow users to create SMS accounts, download and purchase eMailSMS. The site will be extended in the future to add more account management functionality like managing users and user-based policy.
The division was made to allow Wireless Live to focus on its primary customers, SMS Wholesalers and Mobile Operators and allow GenSMS to manage its responsibility to its business customers.
